The collection dates back to 1966. Family items are supplemented with purchased and, to a lesser extent, donated items from all over Croatia

In the collection, the predominant items are traditional Croatian Preslica (or Kudilja), followed by furniture and household utensils, as well as parts of traditional costumes.

The collection is located in an old family house, and a part of the collection is presented as a residential space.
